Name: Selina Kyle
Alias: Catwoman
Costume Shown: Jim Balent's design
Creators: Bob Kane and Bill Finger
First Appearance: Batman #1 (1940)
Abilities: Great agility, acrobatics, skilled in fighting, master thief, connection to cats and skilled in utilizing various weapons and tools, including whips and claws
Weaknesses: Her love for cats has been known to be a source of weakness for her, as well as kids. She also seems to have feelings for Batman, which tend to throw her off a bit in her work.
Bio:
(Due to an extremely long original bio which has been written and rewritten again and again, I'll be using the current running bio for the New 52)
Current:
In the New 52, not much is known about Catwoman's origins, though there are some that remain from the older comics, such as her past with Carmine Falcone, and being the daughter of crime boss "The Lion". She starts off outside of Gotham, pulling various heists and house hopping with her cats. After pulling a bit of stealing, she gained unwanted attention from a gang who found her current home and firebombed it. Thanks to her connections, Catwoman was able to acquire a penthouse in Gotham City, and began operating there once again. She shown to have past with Batman, one that is actually full of sexual encounters between the two.
Sometime after, she is confronted by the Joker who has made his return to Gotham. It is here that she denies any feelings of love for Batman, though in more or less convincing manner.
With her affiliations and past with Batman, she is selected by the current head of A.R.G.U.S Steve Trevor, and government agent Amanda Waller to be the leader of the Justice League of America, made to primarily confront the Justice League if needed. She is eventually captured by the Secret Society during an investigation of them. What came to follow was known as the "trinity war" in which the three justice leagues fought for control of Pandoras Box, which only lead to the invasion and take over of the Earth by the Crime Syndicate of Earth 3.
During he takeover, Catwoman joins up with Batman to save Cyborg's life and find a way to save the world. She aids batman in attempts to take down Power Ring, who is actually killed by Sinestro. She and Batman eventually come to a truce with Lex Luthor and a few other villains, who come together to help save eliminate the Crime Syndicate.
With the failure of the JLA, it is disbanded by the government, leaving Catwoman to return to Gotham, getting back to her usual work.
